A note from the President:
Hi, everyone! Our Annual Meeting is coming up, June 13-15 at Hotel Albany (formerly the Crowne Plaza). It’s time for volunteers and proposals for:
- Conference Co-Chair – Carol Vanzile-Thompson of the University at Buffalo has agreed to be a co-chair, so we need one more volunteer to work with her.
- Pre-Conference Workshops? If you have a workshop topic that would fit well with the meeting, please let me know.
- Papers, panels, round tables, interest groups, and table topics. We’ve had a number of formats over the years, and we can do whatever combination suits the needs of our presenters – one session with a single presented paper; a panel of several presenters on the same or related topics; a round table discussion; interest groups; or table topics. Think about whether you have anything you’re interested in presenting and let me know!
We always have presentations on very broad ranges of issues, from databases and SIRIS and related issues, to assessment, to surveys, accreditation, and whatever else you think would be of interest to members this year.
